Sparks is most widely known for writing novels-turned-movies such as, 'Message in a Bottle', 'A Walk to Remember', 'The Notebook', and the highly anticipated 'Nights in Rodanthe' (which hits theaters September 26.)
All of Sparks novels-turned-movies have been hits, especially with actors like Rachel McAdams, Mandy Moore, Diane Lane, and Richard Gere starring in these films. So, could Miley be the next to join this talented group of stars?
According to a recent report by Variety, Disney has set for Miley to star in their upcoming project. The following statement was issued:
"Sparks is writing an untitled novel and simultaneously working on a screenplay adaptation for the film, which will be produced by Disney-based Offspring Entertainment partners Adam Shankman and Jennifer Gibgot. Tish Cyrus will be exec producer.
Gibgot said the project came about after Disney exec Jason Reed met with the actress [Miley Cyrus], who is slowly broadening her image and transitioning to adult fare. She mentioned ‘A Walk to Remember’ as an example of what she hoped for."
This is probably the best news I've heard in a while, considering Nicholas Sparks is my favorite author of all time, and I absolutely adore Miley!
But the question remains, is Miley fit for the role? We want to hear your thoughts!
